We opened our doors for our 2026 Open Day and it was fantastic to welcome so many customers, suppliers and visitors throughout the day.

There was plenty to see, with visitors getting hands-on with a wide range of metrology equipment, including 3D scanners, portable measuring arms, laser trackers, CMMs and 3D printers. Technology from PMT Technologies, Scanology, 3DeVOK and more was available to see in action, with our team on hand to demonstrate the equipment and answer questions.

We were also joined by guest exhibitors Aberlink, PolyWorks, Verisurf, QuickSurface, Peli Products UK and Mahr UK, bringing even more equipment, software and expertise together under one roof.

As well as getting hands-on with the latest technology, the Open Day gave visitors the chance to meet more of the Manchester Metrology team, see what we do and find out about the full range of services we offer. From subcontract inspection, 3D scanning and reverse engineering to CMM inspection and measurement, calibration, servicing, repair, training, 3D printing and more, it was a chance to showcase much more of what we can provide from one place.

Throughout the day, visitors could explore the different equipment and technology, speak directly with our team and guest exhibitors and discuss their own projects and metrology requirements. With food and refreshments available, there was also plenty of time to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and have more informal conversations.

Most importantly, it was great to see such a good turnout and have so many people spending time with us throughout the day.
