Manchester Metrology offers professional training in industrial measurement and 3D scanning software for use with portable arms, laser trackers, CMMs and 3D scanners. Our courses cover leading measurement hardware from PMT, Scanology, 3DeVOK, FARO, Romer, Leica, Hexagon, Creaform and more.

Designed for all abilities, from beginner to advanced users, training is delivered in small groups of up to four participants, either on-site at your facility or at our dedicated training centre, depending on the software. Aberlink 3D training focuses on helping users quickly get up to speed with part measurement and inspection using CMMs, portable arms and gages. The course emphasises practical application, giving participants confidence in executing workflows efficiently.

FARO CAM 2 MEASURE 10

FARO SCENE

FARO SCENE training teaches participants how to process, register and visualise 3D laser scan data from buildings, crime scenes, crash sites or other environments. The course focuses on applying workflows effectively, including scan registration, data export, 3D visualisation and VR evaluation.

AUTODESK POWERINSPECT

PowerInspect training provides practical experience with CAD-based measurement and inspection workflows, including scanning capabilities. The course demonstrates how to apply the software efficiently across CMMs, Portable Arms, Gages and Laser Trackers.
