KSCAN‑X from Scanology is a large‑area, wireless optical 3D scanner built for truly large-scale metrology. With its adaptive photogrammetry, dual‑battery system and robust onboard processing, the scanner delivers high-precision 3D measurement across massive parts — from medium-sized assemblies to ultra-large industrial components. Its design supports efficient scanning in complex or hard-to-reach environments, combining speed, accuracy and mobility.

Highlights and Key Features

Completely Wireless

The scanner is cable-free, supported by a dual-battery system and Wi-Fi 6 connection, ideal for use at height or in remote areas.

Ultra-Large Scanning Area

Powered by in-house developed algorithms, it has a scanning area of up to 2.6 m × 1.8 m which makes it suitable for capturing ultra-large parts.

Extended Depth of Field

Working distance ranges from 0.30 m up to 2.50 m, providing flexibility for parts of different sizes and shapes.

High-Speed Quad‑Cross Blue Lasers

Uses 4 × 21 blue laser lines (quad-cross) with high frame-rate capture (up to 180 FPS) for rapid scanning with minimal markers.

Adaptive Photogrammetry

Ensures consistent volumetric accuracy over long distances and eliminates cumulative errors during large-scale scans.

Three Scan Modes

Large‑FOV mode: 84 laser lines

Medium‑distance mode: 54 lines

Deep‑hole mode: 1 blue laser line

Reduced Markers

Fewer markers required due to laser configuration and photogrammetry, allowing smoother, faster scanning.
