The Scanology TrackScan Sharp-Z is a wireless optical 3D scanning system for large-scale measurement. Its tracker automatically follows the scanner, helping reduce repositioning when measuring large components.

With tracking distances of up to 12 m, 360° tracker rotation and quad-cross blue laser technology, the system combines wide-area coverage with fast, detailed data capture.

Fully Self-Tracking for Less Repositioning

A dynamic rotary platform automatically turns the tracker to follow the scanner, maintaining the tracking field of view. This helps minimise tracker repositioning during large-workpiece measurement.

A 50 MP industrial camera combines with an extended depth of field and a dynamic adaptive LED algorithm to support long-range recognition and tracking.

High-Speed Scanning with Four Modes

Quad-cross blue laser technology supports extra-large workpiece inspection and automated inspection of large components. Four scanning modes accommodate different measurement tasks:

- Ultra-fast / Extended-depth: 4 × 35 blue laser lines (Quad-Cross Technology).

- Hyperfine: 21 parallel blue laser lines.

- Deep-hole: one extra blue laser line.

Fully Wireless Unrestricted Scanning

Edge computing in the scanner and tracker combines with high-speed wireless data transmission to remove cable constraints, providing greater freedom of movement during measurement.

Hot-Swappable Batteries

Dual battery compartments on both the scanner and tracker allow batteries to be changed without interrupting operation, supporting continuous measurement.

Built-In Screens

Built-in displays on both the scanner and tracker provide real-time visibility of device status, the calibration interface and probe measurements, making operation more intuitive and efficient.

Customisable Buttons

Three programmable buttons provide one-touch access to frequently used functions, reducing repetitive operations and menu switching for smoother, more efficient on-site measurement.

Industrial-Grade Accuracy and Reliable Stability

The system is ISO 10360-13 compliant, with four-metric accuracy control covering accuracy, volumetric accuracy, sphericity and flatness. A rigid carbon-fibre icosahedral frame supports structural stability and consistent accuracy.
